  1. I'm having trouble setting up IVM as a simple answering machine. Specifically, messages record, but they don't show up in the mailbox. I created an outgoing message "boring". Report shows: boring + Press *: MailBox Remote Access. > Leave Message for Mailbox Default Default Answering Message Thank you for calling. Please leave your name, contact number and a short message after the tone and someone will get back to you as soon as possible. + Press *: MailBox Remote Access. > Leave Message for Mailbox Default OGM Report created by: IVM Answering Attendant v 4.01 © NCH Swift Sound The log after a simulated call shows: Answering Attendant Log for call answered 2007-03-01 20:23 Created by IVM Answering Attendant © NCH Swift Sound Software www.nch.com.au/ivm 00:00 Answered line [1000 "Simulator"] call number [11] cid [5555555555] did[] drn[0 (0ms)] 00:00 Play file: C:\Program Files\Call Soft Pro\Greetings\new-boring.wav 00:03 Command - Leave Message 00:03 Leave Message for Mailbox: Default 00:03 Play system prompt: RecordTone 00:03 Recording File: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NCH Swift Sound\IVM\MailBoxes\Default ICM000005.wav 00:11 Call disconnected I can find the message in the file system, but it doesn't show up in the sole mailbox, "Default". I get the same result if I use the "Default Answering Machine" OGM and if I telephone in instead of using the simulator. Any advice? Thanks. Ellen
