  1. Have it.... crashes my computer quickly. I get 4 tracks loaded and the program acts very goofy. I know it's most likely the RAM of my computer but the requirements didn't make that clear. I have an older machine but it works fine - right under a Gig processor and 256Mg RAM using Windows ME. The MixPad loads with all the controls compacted together and hard to see. As if the screen was too short. I'd like a program similar to it but find it hard to mix the tracks together. The program has a mind of it's own. I try to move a track ever so little to get the timing right and the program drops it where it wants to. Not clear on the operations or the "Help" areas. I downloaded it last night and will work with it again tonight. Wish me luck! OH......... thanks for the quick reply!
  2. I’ve just downloaded the trial version of Wave Pad and like it, (so far). I am looking to upgrade if I can get this software to do what I need. I record guitar and try to lay down 2-3, or 4 recordings into a sound track. I can just manage to lay them on queue to get the rhythms together. If the file to be mixed is not the “SAME” length as the main file it mixes and starts the original again from where I started the mix. It’s like cutting the original and pasting it behind my mixed in clip. The instructions say to simply cut and paste “Mix” but the afore mentioned problem occurs. What I need to know is how to paste in at different areas of a song additional guitar clips such as a lead part without cutting up the original track. I’ve tried all the “Paste” commands. I have to make a track the exact length as the original with only the inserted lead part in the exact area to be mixed then paste it all as not to disrupt the original track. Any help here is appreciated.
