campione electrics

Hi there I have just purchased this software for a mac book pro. I purchased it due to i thought the trial one was not working completely due to it being a trial. I can not click on the description and just start writing. Is there a setting that i need to change. The only way i can add words in the description column is to add an item every single time i need to write something new. Please help???
