Thank you for your help Ben. Here is my situation, I just filed for divorce a few weeks ago. My attorney told me to use a video cam in the living room to record the conversations my wife is having with my 11 year old son. My wife has been known to lie to several people and has really been turning my son against me. I have the video cam on a shelf above the televsion, it looks as if belongs with the cable box that I have. So if the television is on while there is also conversation between my wife and son, I can hardly hear the conversation since the audio from televsion is much louder. I would appreciate any help or recommendations on other software where I can seperate the different sounds or at least make the audio from the televsion alot less louder. Thank you again. B.

I am currently using wavepad masters edition 5.95 although I could update to the free version if necessary. I would like to know how to remove the televison shows such as what we are watching from our conversations or to seperate the two of them. The television audio is much higher than our conversations.
