  1. (I'm trying this topic again as I'd really like an answer!) I'm fairly new to this game, so please bear with me if question seems dumb! I'm using the basic 'free' version of Wavepad, and generally am absolutely delighted with the features and simple-to-use format. However, I used the 'autotrim' feature to remove gaps between tracks, and this appeared to work perfectly when playing back a playlist through Windows Media Player, with all the music running pretty much seamlessly without any breaks. I then copied the tracks to my MP3 player and tried playing back, when it seemed that the gaps between tracks were now apparent again, now with the added err.... bonus of stopping and starting rather abruptly (obviously the editing had worked fine). Is this a 'feature' of MP3 players generally, or can I work round it using Wavepad in some different way? I don't want to merge all the tracks into one, as I like to vary the playmode from time to time.
