Thanks Ben, that solves what those mysterious red lines are.

New to forum. I have opened a Wave music file in the window and noticed that a lot of red vertical lines have been displayed in the lower half of the window. Is this a fault in the source music file or does it indicate something else? The music file plays and sounds OK. The file has been checked with achkgui and is a proper Wave file.
