Configuration: P4 3.4GHz, 1GB Memory, WinXP SP2, WavePad v2.00 Working on a wav-file of ~1.2 GBytes or > 2 hr duration. No problem to play the file as a whole using WavePad when starting from the begin or from a position less than ca. 1:41:00. No problem to edit the file using WavePad as long as we are in the area of less than ca. 1:41:00. When placing the cursor to a position beyond ca. 1:41:00 then it will be optical placed there - but WavPad plays the sound from the BEGIN of the file at 00:00. Nevertheless - it seems that the edit-operations can be performed and works well in the area >1:41:00. So we have a divergence between the optical and acoustic behave and it is not possible to control the edit operations in the area beyond ~1:41:00. Each repositionning of the cursor there has always the same effect. The problem can be reconstructed any time and with different wav-files. Could you please notify me about the facts and the measures planned? Thanks!
