Thank you. The problem with using the Preferences is that you can't do anything else while they are showing. You cannot use it whle you are recording. That is when I need it. Is there no way to have the recording volume?

I need to find the 'recording volume' control. It does not show up on my Mac 10.7.5. The WavePad version I am using is v. 5.82. I cannot determine weather or not the volume is adequate.
