I have a vPedal, not altoedge. No, my computer is not set to go to sleep. I did just go back through the Controller Setup, and the foot pedal now seems to be working OK (but it almost sounds like two dictations going on at the same time). I've never had to reinstall, but I'll keep in mind Thank you for the response.

I have Express Scribe v. 5.5. My foot pedal is no longer working correctly. When I lift my foot off the play pedal, and then push it back down, sometimes it plays and sometimes it doesn't. The same applies to the fast forward pedal and the rewind pedal. I changed out the foot pedal thinking that perhaps it had one bad, but I still have the same problem. Any ideas?
