what audio file format are you using, DSS, WMA...? If its DSS we have had problems with Philips equip. Look for updates for your download software, a quick fix is to convert your file to WAV format in Switch then import to Express Scribe.

Download the latest version of Express Scribe

Change your extension to .WAV. PC Dart was created by BCB now VIQ solutions and most of their extensions work after changing to WAV. Play it in Media Player before importing to Express Scribe

Go into your sound card settings, these settings can be accessed from your system tray or control panel, make sure no enviromental sounds have been enabled

Hi All, Im having a problem with DSS files using Express Scribe. Every so often one of our Philips DSS files will download and Scribe will not play the entire file and leave a couple of minutes off the end.. This problem occurs ocassionally. If anyone has any ideas how to clear this one up, please let me know. C-Surfer
