  1. If you haven't found an older version, I would be happy to e-mail it to you if you give me your address.
  2. I'm unable to find this download at that site - more specific?
  3. I've been having the same problem - a new MT with my service is using Vista and cannot play .wav files - they will not open - they will load, but will not play. I have tried downloading the suggested codecs, but am not sure if I have the right one. Please help before she gives up in frustration! Three of us have spent 12 hours on this nonsense!! And as well, the .dss files are still cut off in Express Scribe - this has been an ongoing problem for 3 years now that I know of and all .dss files have to be checked in a .dss player first to confirm length because Express scribe will CUT THEM OFF at times. (makes doctors very angry when their dictations are 1/2 done and the MT doesn't even realize it!!) Coincidence had it that we had a file cut off right between patients and there was no way to know that it had been cut off!!
  4. I have been having this problem with ES with the last couple of versions, and the only version I can get to NOT cut off voice files is 3.07, an old one, which requires lots of plugins, etc. I have had several MTs that work for our company have the same problem with the same voice files. Unhappy clients when reports are missing due to ES cutting off the voice files. (so far seems to be always .dss files) It seems to cut them in half, and when tried on several different machines, same result. On re-installing the old version, voila - whole voice file is there.... If anyone is aware of a fix for this problem, please share?? Thanks.
  5. I have had the same problem. I have a transcription service and several of the MTs that work for me use the version 4.05. I had one file that was 18:58 long, and when loaded, was only 10:45. I got each and every one of my MTs to test it in their version, and each and every one had a file of 10:45 when loaded, although the download sizes were all the same. When the installed the old version that I sent them and loaded that file, it came up with the proper duration. There is something seriously wrong with version 4.05. If you need an old version, please let me know. I'll send it to you - it seems to be working perfectly. If you have found a solution to this that I don't know about, please let me know.
