  1. Get back to Dragon - there is no reason why ES and its recommended pedal should not work with any program!
  2. Hi Clarice, Try www.lbjlib.utexas.edu/johnson/AV.hom/dicta_audio.asp (choose MP3 and load into ES) or the transcription company Tigerfish.com allow you to download their test file. Of course, the other thing you can do is load a story-telling CD into ES but that will be wonderful audio which you don't get as a rule! Good luck!
  3. Hi Don Iannone, If I understand your question correctly, I am afraid the bad news is you have to transcribe it yourself! Express Scribe is a tool for playing audio files, including CDs, and then you listen and type into e.g. MS Word. If you are unable to do this yourself, then you can ask a transcription company to do it for you but that is nothing to do with Express Scribe. You just send the CD to a transcriber. Good luck!
  4. If you are sure you won't need the file again, just highlight it, go file/delete. It will warn you it is not recoverable. This seems to be an easier way than marking as 'done' and waiting for the programme to delete it.
