So videopad v3 is doing a lot of useless procedures and I can not edit video. Very sad :-(. The primary function of videopad is video cutting, not "online" presentation based on good preview which is cached on disk. As you wrote: the green progress bar shows that this storage process is under way and further changes to the sequence is prevented until it is complete. Again, primary function of videopad is cutting, so I need future positions/time of same video, during duplication and cutting, not the past parts!! Past parts are good for final result, but this I can "run" at the end of my job. I need cut long video first so developers should focus on primary function of this program. Do somebody of developers try cut 30minutes video into 20 short small parts ??? In v2.41 I could have this done in 3 minutes, now it takes me 30 minutes, cos I have always building preview spam on screen :-(. Do developers read this forum ? Do they know that there is big problem for people who are cutting videos daily ?

Every time you make a change to the clip/s on the sequence line the data is re written to the cache and the green bar is regenerated. How can I turn off the caching ? When greenbar is not growing = caching didnt start for a while I can edit videos. I have 3.04. So... I would like turn if off, why I need caching preview when it works ok without it ?

Hi, I miss my videopad 2.41, the best one on the world. I just changed to win8 and 2.41 doesn't work there :-(. So, in spite of the fact that version 3 is very terrible=slow, I bought it and I hope you will really fix that slow preview and that very often problem with "building preview, wait....". I am making two or four 5 minutes videos every week. But I hate this slow preview and very slow green bar which represent process for building preview. You fixed it little in 3,04 according to 3.03 but I have question: "Why video cutting and preview can not be so fast as in 2.41 version" ???? Where is problem ? I have: AMD Athlon dual core 6000, 3 GHz! 4,5 GB RAM, ddr2 800Mhz ATI radeon HD5700, 1GB Just dont tell me that I have slow pc :-). I have no problems with video preview in 2.41 :-) !!
