I know you can watch it on anything, but anything edited by video pad can not be watched on e.g. iPod

I have video pad, great editing software but when I upload my videos to YouTube you cannot watch them on mobile devices, but I can when i use windows movie maker. Please explain why this happens and explain how to fix. Thank you in advance

gonna keep this very simple have the latest version of th esoftware but unlike the old version its not the same when I want to put it into widescreen could some one tell me how to do it
