  1. from version 1.20 onwards, axon had support for Message Waiting subscribe code - any idea how to get this to work?

I am using axon v2.00, grandstream gxp 2000s, IVM v4.01

    v1.20

    Added Force Relay option

    Added Relay Not Required option

Added the ability to save the settings

    Added emergency dial mapping

    Added reverse dial digits

Added a 2 minute (ringing) 2 hour (hold) time out

    Added auto delete logs

    Added Message Waiting subscribe code

    Allow multiple redundant VRS servers

Automatically download and install VRS if set to use but cannot find

Default "Link to IMS On-Hold Player" when creating new group

    Fixed sorting lists

Fixed the 'Use Voice Mail' and 'Transfer Call' options for extensions

Improved pages layout when printed out

Web panel interface improved (tables, login page, extension setup details page, recorder settings page)

  2. Could the first one be the total duration including ringing, and the second just the actual call length?

Yes the first one is total duration and the second one is duration connected

I have written a call log using php & mysql - send me a personal message if you want more details

  3. I have just found new software that enables SIP and other things (skype, msn, yahoo, googletalk etc) on the Nokia e-series and other mobile.

My previous instructions above enabled connection Axon from a local wireless LAN - I could never get it to work from remote wireless networks

This new software enables connect from any wireless LAN, also mobile GPRS, 3G networks -- so now I can connect where I am - and receive or make calls via the Axon!

    software is fring

  4. We'll have to wait and see, as far as I can tell this "Axon Plus" version is brand new (as in today), and if anything it could be an April Fools joke.

The download doesn't seem to work, and according to the purchase page it costs $0

Anyway, I hope it is a joke because one of the best reasons to use Axon is the fact that it has always been a free product. If it's no longer free, it's going to have an even harder time competing with other Virtual PBX systems like Asterisk (free), and will probably lose out on customers. Even though this doesn't seem like it would matter much since they haven't been making of Axon downloads anyway, it does affect them very negatively.

Most of the people who use Axon will probably at some point purchase one of the add on software packages like IVM, VRS, IMS, Quorum, etc. this is where they make their money.. if they chase away customers from Axon, they're going to lose out tons of potential customers for their other products (in my opinion).

It seems like the standard version only allows up to 10 extension - and you have to pay for the Plus version if you want to use more - round about $100US

not sure of any other features - I have have it downloaded - (you have to remove the https from the download link and use http instead)

If I find any new features will let you know

  5. Hi

I have finally got my E61 working and more than a year of trying!

Delete your exisiting sip profile ( I say delete becasue proxy should be blank, and you cannot empty it once there is something entered)

    create a new one

for example - extention 307 with axon server @ 192.167.7.7 with an access point set called "Home"

    Profile Name : 307

    Service Profile : IETF

    Default Acces Point : Home

    Public User Name : sip:307@192.168.7.7

    Use Compression : No

    Registration : Always On

    Use Security : No

Proxy Server : DO NOT ENTER ANYTHING HERE

    Registrar Server :

    Reg Serv Add : sip:192.168.7.7

    Realm : axon@nameof server

    Username : 307

    Password : ****

    Transport Type : Auto

    Port : 5060

    ---------------------

    Hope this helps

    Regards

  6. I have 2 offices and would like to run 2 axon pbxs. Is it possible to interconnect these 2 pbxs so that a user in site a can dial 2100 and get the extension in site B and a user in site B can dial the extension 2001 and get a user in site A.

If so how? This product is really easy to use.

    Thanks

    cenetadmin

    Should be quite simple

You have to decide on numbering plan first - then set up external line and internal extentions on each system and then the dialling plan

send me a PM with how you want it configured and I will get back to you.

  7. I find Axon to be very good

    I am using

1 PSTN line - mainly for incoming calls (out going far cheaper on VOIP!) - on a Sipura 3102 - also where I live (Alderney, Channel Islands) number porting is not allowed - so needed to keep main company number

6 VOIP external lines - various companies - depending on which gives best call rates -

I use voipfone as my main outgoing lines, but also have sipgate (best for UK mobiles), aql, entacall, freshtel, and also Skype uplink

    Extentions

    Internal -

    3 using Grandstream 2000

    3 using Grandstream BudgeTone 200

    1 using ATL 250

    2 using Express Talk softphone

1 using Sipura 3102 (shared with the PSTN line)

    External

also have colleagues working out of the office

    all using Grandstream BudeTone 200

1 in Alderney, 1 in London, 1 in Australia

also using IVM answering attendant which answers the calls when there is no reply (my staff get 15 seconds to answer BEFORE the answing attendant) and then get the option to keep holding (press 1), leave a message (press 0), or transfer to a mobile (press 7) which works very well.

PS I have tried various FXO adapter cards and gateways and find the Sipura the only one I can get to work properly

  8. Has anyone gotten the CID to work from the FXO?

all i get from the pstn is FXO1 call. if i login into the spa 3102 you can see the last caller info but it does not pass that info to axon that should pass that info the the ext dialed?

logs from axon and ivm only shows (call FXO1)

    yes - see post above

the '300' is whatever your ring group is -- usually 701 on Axon -- just that I use '300'

  9. Just install SPA3102

All worked fine, except for Caller ID - I was just getting FXO1 as the caller ID

Tried to enable PSTN CID for VOIP (step 22) and was getting the error on Axon - cannot find line with ID '300' or extension with ID 'xxxxxxxx' -- 300 is my incoming group - xxxxxxx was the calling number

I solved it by adding another external line called 300, ringing on 300 - with username and password of 300 and "Other device will contact us (eg. FXO, UpLink, etc...)" selected

now I get full Caller ID - on talk express and Grandstream 2000 I get

    FXO1

    'calling number '

which is quite useful as it shows the call has come in on that line!

Thought this might be useful for any with problems on caller id!

    My setup

    1 FXO line

    8 VOIP Lines

    3 Grandstream 2000

    7 Grandstream BT200 (3 in other countries)

    6 Talk Express

    Uplink to Skype

  10. Hello,

I've tried this nice software, everything works just great!

    But i have a problem.

Every time I restart my computer, Uplink starts automatically and starts Skype, thats okay. But Uplink seems to change Skype's default sound device (both input and output) to Uplink, so the link will not work.

I have to change back every time I start the computer the Skype's sound device to the sound card.

How can I permit Uplink to change that setting? Or is there any solution to this?

    Thank you,

    mucsoo

as far as I know, the default sound should be Uplink

    what is not working?

  11. I'm having trouble setting up my Nokia N80. I've followed the directions for setting up the E65 wich works with the internal IP address of the PBX, however I want to connect to the PBX over the net but it just says registration failed. I'm sure it'ss something to do with the realm.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

I am having same problem with my E61 - works fine on home network - when over the net5 phone shows registration fails - even though Axon sip trace and extension list show it as registered - this worked before upgrade firmware to v3

    any ideas anybody?

  12. Hi

  13. Hi,

Is there anybody who can help me with this.

    We are using 5 BT200 f/w: 1.1.2.23 and Axon PBX v1.09.

The problem is when we try to make an attended transfer we get one way audio.

    Scenario 1:

    A calls B and asks for C.

B press "flash" and calls C.

C answers and B is telling him that A wants to talk with him.

    B press "transfer" and hangup.

    A can now hear C, but C doesn´t hear A.

All parts using BT200 on the same LAN as the server running Axon.

    No firewalls enabled.

    SIP port: 5060

    RTP port: 16384

    Scenario 2:

    A calls B and asks for C.

B press "flash" and calls C.

C answers and B is telling him that A wants to talk with him.

    B press "transfer" and hangup.

    A get´s disconnected and C get´s busy signal.

The only difference is that A is an call from an external line.

Normal transfer works fine but not attended.

We have talked with Grandstream and got firmware 1.1.2.23 that was supposed to fix this bug thay say.

    But he problem still remains.

    //Micke

    Hi -

I am using version 1.1.1.14 - attended transfers work fine with me - both internal only - or including a 'sip' external call

    Sip port : 5060

    Rip port : random

    Stun is on : stun.gossiptel.com

    Hope this helps

if not please send me a pm and can discuss further

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

also tested with Express Talk as an extension --- all fine

with a 'normal' phone on a Netgear TA612 -- I get one way audio - or if the normal phone origianted call - everything disconnected

  14. The strange part is: when the call connects, I watch the IVM activity log display that it is answering the call, and that it is playing the correct Voice Attendant Start file.wav (and that file is OK - I've played it in a separate application). The task bar bubble prompt also shows that uplink is connecting to IVM ... but .. there is still no IVM sound in the hanset of the caller - only clicks which suggest that a connection is being made.

Paul: what audio settings do you have in IVM - use Windows default, or use Uplink? I've tried both.

    Mike

Strange - I have this problem with another SIP service - I am using a few different ones to see which is best.

No voice from IVM is heard, but the caller can leave a meesage if they know when to!

    Works fine with uplink though

  15. Hi,

I've just purchased and installed Axon, IVM, IMS, and Skype Uplink. Skype is using a functioning Skype in number. There is notother line external line connected to Axon.

All products are configured and appear to be operating as they should, with one exception. Callers are not connected to IVM. Some earlier posts (2005) in this forum suggest that Skype and IVM do not work together. Is that still the case, or does Uplink now provide the capability to allow them to operate together?

If the products are supposed to work together, can anyone suggest some basic troubleshooting steps, or even a workaround?

    Mike

I have no problem with IVM & Skype (through Axon).

Only that if you have a 'key selection' on the IVM the DTMF tones sent are not recognised

  16. Hi Paul,

I used the default settings for the phone - I only changes the ID, password, proxy, etc. that were given by Axon for the extension number I want to use with the phone. I can post a screenshot of the settings when I get home at the weekend if that'll help.

    Thanks

try using the ip address of the axon computer, rather than the name - that seems to work on mine

  17. Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to set up my Grandstream BT101 to work with Axon? I have ExpressTalk working fine with Axon, and mt BT101 works great when connected directly to my Voip Provider. But I can't get the BT101 to work with Axon - It doesn't seem to make any attempt to register, and the display shows that it's not connected.

    Thanks

I have had no problem, what settings are you using?

  18. It seems to be a great piece of software, but there is one annoying problem with it. I'm not sure if it is with the IVM or Express Talk.

With the "annouce caller name throught speakers" unticked. I'm assuming this is the right setting.

When the call goes to IVM voicemail, I get number of all inbound calls being announced using "sam" on my headset

Is this a know fault? or is it with Express Talk and BE?

    I have same problem -

  19. Hello, anyone know how to backup AXON configuration?

Data is stored in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/NCH Swift Sound/Axon

You get to this folder by typing 'regedit' into Start -> Run

you can then export data into a "reg" file
