Try this - it seemed to work for me (read it all first, it may make more sense): Open Dial Dictate, Settings, Voice Prompts (shows a list) Put on headphones or use speakers Click on the voice prompt that is too loud (or just any to select it) Click on the bottom left bar (to play the voice prompt) A dialog box pops up. On the right side down about the middle, there is a slider bar for adjusting the volume. Good luck!
