  1. It depends on what type of signal it utilizes. If its a standard sip line then it should. I do know that we have no issue utlizing BroadVoice now.
  2. This was a issue with BroadVoice and the Local Exchange we used. Once we switched the exchanged we no longer had this issue
  3. Change your output volume on your TAPI modem
  4. Two reasons this could happen. 1. The author isn't sending the files. Thus Make sure you adjust the setting in Dial Dictate "Send files if author hangs up" to be checked. Also , under record menu keys make sure that there is a key available to "Send and Hangup" and have the authors use that key 2. This can also happen if your FTP settings have changed and the software isn't moving the files. To overcome this recheck your settings and firewall. If some of the files are getting through then it's most like the first reason. If none are getting through then it's the second reason.
  5. No Problem Install it on a different PC and have that PC controll the other user otherwise it's not going to happen.
  6. You don't need to put a user E-Mail Address in. It won't effect anything
  7. Dial Dictate is difficult to set up with a Tapi modem. There are many issues to contend with none harder than: Random tones being generated by the caller. This issue can drive you mad trying to fix. With VOiP you minimize the random tone issues, however, I have yet to get a SIP provider set up where the system works perfect. Compounded that NCH never gives you a striaght answer makes it difficult for me to reccommend this type of system to you.
  8. I have this part figured out. for those of you who want to try this. In Axon add the External Line from Broadvoice In Axon add a Extension and jot down the advanced server information for that extension In Axon have the External Line point to the Extension In Dial Dictate add a line with the Axon advanced server information for that extension. Good Luck, cause I still have issues
  9. Ok we have BroadVoice. It is received by Axon and the VOip is working perfect. In Axon we have the two commands checked per the instructions. They are: "Disable call activity polling (only use if call breaks after 60 seconds) " "Prevent odd RTP ports being forwarded (only use if 50% of calls fail) " We have Dial Dictate receiving the calls from Axon. Now if we rewind, or pause or hit any other key while recording. The command may or may not happen. And we get modem like sounds over the line. This has happened on two different units...... Any help out there for me.
  10. Hey, I have a question. Has anyone hooked up Dial Dictate with BroadVoice and if so How? In the instructions it says you need AXON to do it. However, Once I have AXON installed and the VOIP information installed and working great. The Broadvoice information is registering fine. How do I let Dial Dictate know how to get the info from AXON. I've hooked it up without AXON but the Dial Dictate freaks out and sends modem tones from time to time if you do it that way. Please Help
