Many thanks for the new version 3.04! The good news: almost all reported crashes (FFT, Bookmarks, Regions) have been fixed now! Only the function ´Text to Speech´ is still crashing (under Win98). Although I don´t have installed the necessary TTS-engine (simply because I don´t need this feature at all), a popup-window with an info about this missing TTS-engine would of course be a bit more ´friendly´ than a program crash. But for me that´s not really a problem, and I´m now quite satisfied with the current version 3.04. Regards, Franz.

I´ve exactly the same problems here on both of my computers, on my old notebook (with Celeron CPU) and on my desktop (with P4 CPU). On the notebook I´m running Win98, on the desktop Win98SE, and on both WavePad is crashing for lots of its features, e.g.: Tools > FFT ---> CRASH! Tools >TFFT ---> CRASH! Tools > Text to Speech ---> CRASH! Bookmark > Open Bookmark List ---> CRASH! Bookmark > Open Region List ---> CRASH! ... So my question: Is WavePad running at all under Win98/Win98SE? As the stated ´Requirements´ say, it SHOULD run, but it DOESN´T! As it is now, unfortunately WavePad is absolutely unusable ... Regards, Franz.
