I am so hoping someone can help me. My old computer started to fail and we purchased a new computer that has Windows 7 (old one was XP). My husband loaded a version of express scribe 5.4, which I told him that it is a free verson and the only one that comes up is the trial version, which expired and I ended up having to pay $20, when I know it is free. Anyway, I am having a MAJOR Major problem. One Dr. will call in 2 reports and one comes in normal and the next file comes in at ZERO minutes and (NO audio). If I check with the call in dictation, at their end, there are voices on files. If they resend to me, it comes in again at ZERO minutes. However, if I reroute to old computer (4.36 express scribe), it loads fine, no problems. Looked at forums and wrote to express scribe without response. Used express scribe for 15 years- NEVER had a problem. Can anyone help me. I'm kind of "desperate" here, as this old computer is NOT too stable and I can't fix this problem on new computer. Debbie
