good grief does nobody participate on this forum?

I am brand new to the forum and the software. I made a 'test' slideshow and was able to sync the audio to the pictures, and chose 'fade' as the transition effect. The problem is when i play back the slideshow, the transitions between the slides are sort of abrupt. I definitely want the audio to be perfectly synced but wondering if the 'stretch to fit' is affecting the smoothness of the transition. I honestly don't know the right 'formula' to add to the options and other than this minor problem i seem to have it working well. Any speedy help would be GREAT!

Assuming you've added your soundtrack - right click on it and one of the options will be to STRETCH SLIDES TO FIT AUDIO DURATION. Click on this and you should be okay. This is using the Free edition.

 

If you have several audio clips in the soundtrack just highlight the last one before right clicking and stretching - works for me.

I am new to this software and this forum but i noticed a huge difference in the playback quality depending on what i used to view the slideshow. If i saved as an mp4 it played nicely in realplayer and quicktime but in other software it was choppy/messy as you describe. I hope you figured it out. I won't buy the premium version till i figure out how to make it work more consistently.
