  1. I have my vonage softphone + axon + IVM + IMS working together quite nicely. I am going to do a full write up on how this was done, but one nagging issue is keeping it from being 100% complete. It seems that Vonage requires proxy authorization for outbound calls as well as inbound. I have an outbound extension (601) set to call an external number (non sip). I have IVM set to transfer a call to ext. 601. IVM passes the call to Axon, which tries to dial out on the softphone line. After looking through the SIP trace log, it seems as though the proxy registration is failing, because I keep getting a 404 not found.

    MY QUESTION IS:

Does Axon send username AND password authentication for outbound calls? It appears to only be sending username.

Alternatively, could IVM use a different outbound line instead of using the one the call came in one (i.e. call comes to IVM by SIP through Axon, but IVM uses a voice modem and PTSN line to transfer the call.)

    Thanks for your help.

Yes, I think AXON only send username on outbound, so it drops the call 404 when you use Vonage for outbound. I use Callcentric, broadvoice, and even voipbuster voipstunt gizmo without any problems. and besides Vonage is highly expensive!

  2. I've the same problem. I've email zyxel and NCH, I'm waiting for responses. If any one has an idea to correct and make the Zyxel Phone connect Axon... please help....

Hello, where did you purchase your ZYXEL? Is that a BROADVOICE unlocked unit? Or a factory Zyxel. We sell lots of P2000W, although I have not personally installed a unit with AXON. What was the problem on registration?

  3. You don't even need a PBX to do this, provided the numbers are phone numbers and not extensions in location B.

If you intend to call the US, I can give you access to our AXON pbx. What VoIP devices do you have there?

  4. Hello

Among the users who must be part of the 701 default group when a call comes in from the PSTN is one who moves around a lot and, hence, wants calls to ring his cellphone instead of his IP phone at home/work.

Instead of getting my very own, personal IP-to-GSM gateway, I'd like to check out...

    1. What VoIP providers have in store for this

    2. How to set up Axon so that it sends notifications to that VoIP account for that precise users, while ringing regular extensions for the other users part of the 701 group.

    Thank you!

Hello, we installed FX-300 GSM Gateway that works seamlessly with VoIP Handytones or Linksys SPA-2000, and of course with AXON. Check out www.citivoip.com

  5. Hello, I paid for the bundle IVM Professional with Quorom last September 27, and realized that the IVM Professional is limited to 3 line users only. I needed to upgrade to IVM Enterprise. Does anyone know a link where I can buy the UPGRADE to IVM Enterprise.

The upgrade link provided by NCH does not show upgrade prices but are instead REGULAR prices. Upgrades are supposed to be priced lower? :(

  6. Hello Adams, I have UPLINK and AXON and SkyPe registered well.

But like what you are experiencing, I was able to ring my cell phone, my home phone, and even to another Skpye user. But then after the ring (about 5 seconds) it disconnects.

The Uplink log reports (like what you have)

"Call Failed: User may not be online or the number you dialed does not exist"

    The AXON actually reported:

    487 Request Terminated

    I tried this is several ATA, including a PAP2, GXP-2000, HT-487.

    Hi,

I just got Asterisk able to dial out into the Skype network via Uplink.

I have it set so any long distance number I dial gets sent to Uplink and Skype as +1NXXNXXXXXX, and I was able to get it to ring my cell phone. After about five seconds, the call disconnects from Skype, and Uplink reports:

"Call Failed: User may not be online or the number you dialed does not exist"

Any ideas on how to fix this problem are greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Adam

  7. Well I am glad that they let me try this product free. So far it has just sucked up days or work for me. It has been buggy and nothing but issues. I thought IVM was made to work with VoIP lines and AXON but I see no support in help about anyting to do with VoIP line and IVM.

I am using a service SIPnumber.net or freedigits.net. They provide a free cool inbound VoIP real phone number. I can get it to call into AXON just fine. Axon will work with this not sure about the transfer feature it does not seem to transfer the call using Express Talk but the 3  way conference worked fine.

I wanted to have the Voip line inbound have axon take the call into IVM.

Play a short "hello" message "if you know the party you are calling dial it now" then hand the call back to the extension they dial.

If no answer to to Voice Mail for that ext.

Problem: Everytime IVM answers the call it has silence then it disconnects

This looks great but nothing was heard on the other end.

I really wanted this to work. Does anyone have any feedback is to what to do. I have tried everyting I can imagine. Over and over reinstalling, changing things etc.

I have given up after hours and hours over 3 days to get this to work.

Does anyone have any idea if this product actually works. I have read through this forum and dont see anyone that has got VoIP to work correctly.

    I am really begging here.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Hello, are you able to get this to work yet? I am having exactly the same problems.
