  1. I'm editing and burning MP3 files which I've downloaded from a website. The final recording is great apart from some background hissing. I've been burning on speed 1x (the slowest available). A few questions: 1. Any solutions to my hissing problem? 2. Should I be saving in CD or default quality? I'm currently using CD. 3. Which is the best format? I'm currently using PCM. 4. What is the best Attributes? I'm currently using 172kb/sec Cheers from Australia.
  2. I'm trialing the free software, it seems that I can only load audio files from D drive and not C Drive. Can this be done using the 'free' software' and if so how? or do I need to upgrade to the Master edition - thanks.
  3. My problem is similar to tufunuf (posted Mar 10 2005, 03:53 PM) , techno illiterate I'm a little embarassed I can't figure it out Background: Running Windows XP. I've saved an MP3 audio (20MB) file and attempted to engage WavePad only to receive the message below. My goal is to be able to cut (delete) approx. 20 seconds from the file. Will Wavepad allow me to perform this function easily? * I need perform this exercise on a regular basis. error message - cannot open the file "F:\track01.cda" It is possible you don't have a suitable audio codec installed. Please see www.nch.com.au/acm/formats.html for more information." I'm grateful for any guidence as to the next step. Cheers,
