  1. Hi I recently uploaded two files to my Olympus software, which showed that the files were 01:47:20 and 02:01:06 in length respectively. When I invoiced my client, she queried my invoice as I charge a rate per audio minute. She said that my invoice was overstated. I checked and it wasn't as far as I could see, but when I uploaded the files to Express Scribe, they were 74:46 and 81:21 in length respectively. So, there was a difference of 33 minutes and 40 minutes respectively, which is considerable and no wonder she queried my invoice. I listened to the recordings on both software and compared them to the transcripts and they both begin at the start of the recording and end at the end of the recording with no blank gaps. How can this be? I've never had this happen before and it has completely thrown me. I will be putting the same question to Olympus, but thought I would ask here to see if anyone else has come across this before. If anyone can shed any light on this, I would be most grateful. Thanks in advance.
