  1. There is an option to keep the original file. Under options in the "Conversion" tab, uncheck the "Delete source files after conversion" box. Then you can convert all your music into mp3s (probably put them in some other folder) and add them to the mp3 player, and also still keep all your wma files. Otherwise, if you convert the wma files and replace them, you will have to re-add them to your Windows Media Player library.
  2. I have the same problem with apple lossless format. No one has answered any questions about missing ID tags anywhere on this forum that I can find. Are other people having this problem, does anyone have a solution, or is this just how Switch works?
  3. I'm having a similar problem. Switch is also not transferring ID tags for me from m4a tracks I try to convert to mp3. Is this normal?
  4. I am having this same problem. On a Vista machine, when I convert m4a to mp3 the ID tags are lost (the file names are also truncated on a lot of them that had longer song names). The big problem is the ID tags. Does Switch not transfer the ID tags, or meta data as mineralinsulated says, for songs it converts? Is there some option that I should change? I don't see any, and I've never heard of a conversion program that did not transfer the ID tags of tracks. Information on this would be appreciated.
