Hi I posted a message on Friday sounds like a similar problem. I downloaded the new software update and now trying to import my dictations is either really really slow or they don't import at all. I have contaced tech support and they sent me a link to download Express Scribe again. Same thing happened tho and my dictations either won't load or they take forever! I have contacted them again asking for the old version back....let me know if you find any answers to your problem, as am curious now if is a common problem. Good luck!

Hi I just upgraded/dowloaded the newest version of Express Scribe, 5.0. Now when I try to import my dss files, it is taking anywhere from five minutes to 20 minutes to load EACH file. Excrutiatingly slow. I wished I had never upgraded now because I have had absolutely no problems with Express Scribe in the past three years, even with previous upgrades. Can anyone help? I have no idea if I have to change settings of some kind....have never had to do so in the past. Also, if anyone has the previous/older version or versions, would they be willing to email to me? I tried to from their website, but cannot find. |0(
