Hi, I got no answer to my previous question, but it turned out the CD was bad. New question: I can load files into Express Scribe from a CD, but apparently not from my hard drive. Is that a fact of the program? Thanks to anyone who answers. Skye

Some of my files play fine, but others show "no duration" and won't play. They are all .cda files (typical CD sound files). I am on Vista Professional and anxious to begin transcribing. Thanks, Skye
