  1. Never mind, I figured it out. I had a bad setting in what to do if the source and destination file were of the same format. It was set to just copy it in this case, which I didn't realize didn't take bitrate into account. All better.
  2. I am using Switch 1.50, licensed, on Windows XP SP2. I have a bunch of mp3 files encoded at a constant bitrate of 256 kbps. I want to convert them to constant bitrate of 128 kbps. I selected the output bitrate, set the destination, and the files were copied and everything looked OK, but the destination files are still at 256 kbps, not 128. I have tried this with several different files. Tried different bitrates as an experiment. Tried restarting the program, restarting the computer, etc. For some reason, it won't let me convert from mp3 bitrate X to mp3 bitrate Y. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a bug?
