Hey guys, I recorded some music from a digital recorder into cda form, then extracted it to a wav so I could tamper with it in wavepad. My problem is the music I ripped is way too quiet and I want to increase the overall volume so I can burn a proper recording. I ctrl+a highlighted the entire wave and amplified 300%. The shape of the wave changed appropriately but the audio is not noticeably louder what so ever. I tried increasing it by *another* 300%, and again the visual shape of the wave changed proportionately, but no increase in volume has taken effect at all. Same goes for Normalize. Why don't Amplify or Normalize do anything for me? Help please!
