  1. I am a medical transcriper and have used Express Scribe for two years with two different doctors/facilities. I have had no problems until just recently. One doctor's dictation used to be about 25-30 patients per download. I receive the dictation via email attached file. No problem. Now, for some strange reason, I might get 8-10 email messages, numbered 1 of 10, 2 of 10, etc. Each email will have an attachment with about 4 minutes dictation on it that might stop in the middle of a sentence and then pick up on the next email attachment until the dictation is completed. I know the doctor is not doing this because in the past if he had a lot of patients, he might divide the file and would tell me he would continue on the next file. The woman in charge of sending me the files is totally computer illiterate and not interested in learning anything new. If it does not work right, then it has to be something wrong with the system. I can't even get her to research it on her own. I feel like there has just been some simple setting that has been changed somewhere related to how they send their dictation out, but I cannot figure it out from reading this website. Does anyone have any suggestions? The lady actually convinced the doctor to buy new dictation equipment thinking his was broke. This last week, I actually got cassette tapes because the woman says "it is driving her crazy". I think I am going crazy tooooooooooo Thanks for any and all help. Teresa (itypeit)
