I have two computers networked. My secretary’s is the server. I have Express Dictate installed on my machine and Scribe on hers. Everything is in the default directories. I have set it to .wav on both. It is set to send my dictation to her machine in the c:\Program Files\NCH Swiftsound\Scibe\current files\ When I send dictation she receives the file named and dated as I sent it however when it is received and opened it plays an old dictation even though it has the correct name, date and length displayed. I archived all files except the one I’m working with and deleted them as well as the files on both machines under C:\all users\application data\NCH Swiftsound\ as well as the “current files” on both machines. When I “recover” this file on my machine it is correct, but when sent to my secretary it continues to play an old recorded dictation. I'm about kick something. This program has worked for me in the past and I have not changed any settings. The only new software on the mahinces is Nero Suite Demo 7. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
