Hey DJ. First of all - Thanks for replying, I was so troubled by this problem... My OS is windows XP. Yesterday a good (and brilliant) friend of mine solved the problem for me! And that's how it goes: I had to uncheck all the sound formats in the windows media player, then check all the sound formats in the wavepad. Then I had to go to "my computer" > "Tools" > "Folder Options" > "File Types" Tab. There even though the WAV extension was already related to the wavepad software - I needed to choose "New" and then add another file extension "wav" (small letters) and and associate it to the wavepad software. And it worked !!! You were right... It was the file extension that got the wavepad to act that way... Thanks for helping too !!

Hi, I've uploaded WAV files to a WEB page (http) and I want to play these files by clicking on the link of the WAV files. When I click it, I want it to immediatly open the, and play them with the WavePad. Unfortunately when i click on the link i get a message box (with the title "Download file") asking me whether i want to save it or cancel (no option of opening the file) and a kind of security message at the bottom of the box: "The file you are downloading cannot be opened by the default program. It is either corrupted or has an incorrect file type." I don't get this message when i'm using the windows media player for example.. Can someone please help me ?? Is it a problem of the WavePad ? Is it a problem of my setting in the IIS ? It is very important to me and will appreciate your fast reply... Thanks L.T.
