I'm using Wavepad 4.03 on XP and I noticed a minor problem in the Record Control window: the Re-Take (F7) button doesn't always appear after a recording has started... I'm not sure why it doesn't sometimes, a total guess would be maybe if I've used it once or more during the current recording?...
the other minor pet peeve is the size of new files, i.e. new 'Untitled 1' windows, always start in the default size, therefore, you need to re-size or 'maximize' them before beginning to work with them... even if I've been working with another file adjusted to a larger window size, the new files always revert to the smaller default size... I've tried playing with the Options but it doesn't appear to make a difference... this didn't happen with the old Wavepad version, unless the much larger window was the default size...
all these minor issues (along with the changed colour scheme of the editing area) certainly are making me consider finding the older version of Wavepad to re-install...
