Thanks for the reply! I played with every setting on the modem so I don't think I can fix the noise on this modem and I don't have time to search for a great modem so I'm looking into other solutions. Thanks for your help!

I recorded some WAV OGMs but when I play them though IVM, they quality suffers. Sounds hollow and distant. I am not really sure what to do. I have played a lot with the settings in IVM for sound but it doesn't seem to make much difference. Any pointers? How do you guys record your prompts?

My modem which is a creative labs brodextant modem, makes a click noise when it picks up the phone. Is there any way to remedy this or is this just the way the modem is?
