I am new to using this software and was hoping that someone more experienced might be able to give me some advice. I am about to start using this software to transcribe interviews conducted for my Thesis. Previously I have used tape recorders to record interviews, but feel its about time I got a bit more up to date and used digital voice recorders. I will have approximately 8 hours worth of interviews to transcribe and wondered if people find the "hot keys" adequate for this, or would people advise I shell out for the foot pedal? Does it make things much easier or not? Thanks
