ok did just that and this is what it now reads in the blue window line by line : Running SIP network Tool Checking Internet is connected Stopping SIP engine Opening internet ports SIP Port 5070 (UDP) opened Ok Local network IP is 192.168.1.100 This computer is connected to the internet over a network using a NAT, router or internet Connection sharing Checking with STUN NAT is symmetic so STUN will not work Checking for a UPnP NAT No UPnP NAT router found Because NAT or router is symmetic networking will be slow unless you setup NAT manually SIP tool finished Restarting SIP engine SIP private is 192.168.1.100:5070 SIP number: 845 XXXXXXX@192.168.1.100.5070 Server 10.88.108.107 did not respond to register

    Setting up IVM

Hi all knowing more than I, This program seems to be cool and should be beneficial to my needs, that said I’m having some difficulty setting it up I have installed it and am running a windows XP computer can more than handle it. Here’s the problem I have road runner HS cable and phone, which comes through an Arris router from there I use a Lynks wireless router for the home w/ this cpu wired directly to it (the Lynks). When setting IVM up and running it the lower blue box says unable to address of server. I go to settings and then telephone, entered the name, then the SIP which is mye road runner phone number, put in my accounts password, and now I called the internet provider (Road Runner) and was told that the providers IP address (10.88.108.107) which I entered in the box . I am also seeing “server did not respond to register (user sip {my phone number} @ 10.88.108.107) I also see “ Unable to auto detect public IP using private IP” What am I doing wrong or need to do right?
