I am new to WavePad and have been unable to figure out how to play a song from my files and sing (and record the new version) at the same time. None of the directions seem to address that subject.

When recording music directly from my computer, I can hear the sound but it is very faint. What settings do I need to use? When recording directly from one of my CD's it is fine. However, all of a sudden, my Media Player is not recognizing my CDs so I can't even record that.

I upgraded my ITunes and added a few new songs. The next time I opened an email with transcription, it opened in ITunes. Therefore, I obviously can't use my foot pedal. What a nightmare! How do I get it to open in Express Scribe?
