  1. In a typical set-up, each OGM would have it's own prompt. You can set the prompt audio in the OGM's properties window (either an audio file, text to speech script, or a recording).

    The built-in prompts are only there to handle built-in IVRs (e.g. for the voice-mail system) and mix-and-match recordings (e.g. digits, currency)

     

     

    Thanks for your reply. I am creating an IVR system for account balance inquiry. I can see the built in system prompt for 1 to 9, 10, 20 upto...100 the highest one is for 1000. I want to add prompts for 2000,3000 ..... 10000, 20000 ...... upto 1 million as it is not built in the system. Without adding the customised prompt, I am not sure how to complete the system. Please advice. Thanks....

  2. In the IVM, there are some build in System Prompts in Settings ---> Prompts. Is it possible to add customised prompts ? if yes, please explain how...

  3. Hi my ivr system works to check the balance on customers account. So one of the ogm executes a php file and that file returns a variable which has got value (account balance) . I want my ivr software to read out that value. Is it possible ? if yes, how ?

  4. In the line's settings, you can change the "Number of simultaneous calls allowed" to a number of your choosing.

     

    The number of calls the system can handle will also depend on things like hardware, the audio codec that is being used, and most importantly, the amount of bandwidth available.

     

    [This is assuming you are using VoIP. For analog telephony, IVM should support as many lines as the board/card allows (typically between 1-4 per card).]

     

     

     

    Thanks for your reply. Yes, I know that I can change the "Number of simultaneous calls allowed", but what can be the maximum simultaneous calls IVM can handle ? Does it depend on the license ? If I configure 150 simultaneous calls for my one single VOIP line, will IVM be able to handle it ?

  5. One of my collegue purchased IVM software in my company. Now, he has left the job. I am not sure how many lines this software supports !! I even don't have any documentation stating that. Is it possible to find out from the software itself that how many lines it can support (Is it a small business/professional/Enterprise version) ??

  6. Hello all,

    In the property of the OGM, when we click on the 'Advanced' tab there is an option "Read out number after OGM". In my IVR programme, It reads a variable value which is entered by customers. The problem is I am not able to change the voice which reads the number. It's a man's voice & my whole IVR programme has female voice configured. Can anyone pls. help in this, if it is possible to change the voice which read the variable ????
