Same thing here (identical). Express Scribe has written to me and gave me a diagnostic version in trying to look for the problem. We haven't tried it yet. She told me that if it isn't bothering me too much to leave it. It only happens when I close the program and I'm not in danger of losing files, but it is annoying. Debbie P.S. Will keep you posted.

Hi, I've also been writing back and forth to express scribe to have this resolved. Everything was working fine until a computer crash. New hardware now and 4.02 express scribe on computer. Now when I close express scribe I keep getting a error message saying it has encountered an error as has to close (50% of the time). When we print out error message it says it has something to do with foot pedal (but the foot pedal is working). Service Pack 2 now on computer. I also have an infinity IN-USB-1 - that was working fine before. Express Scribe running fine and everything works fine - except this error message. Any help appreciated. Debbie
