  1. i am using tha IVR with a plugin for a customer care call center.

The calling client entering from pone a userID and Password log in into its database space to leave it's questions.

My question is: each time a client is autenticated into the system (i have a global variable %ClientID% that is the primary key of the client) and leave to its mailbox a question, i would like to put the .wav file of the question into the database.

Does anyone know if it is possible?

  2. Hi -

I also had this problem and have a back-door workaround, but it assumes you are running IMS on Windows XP.

There is a file called "hosts" in the WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc directory. This contains a list of IP lookups that are checked first before attempting a network DNS lookup. I found that the IMS was attempting to use the address "stun.fwdnet.net" for STUN, so I added an entry to the "hosts" file to redirect this address to the local host 127.0.0.1 as follows:

    127.0.0.1 stun.fwdnet.net

After restarting Windows (not sure this is strictly necessary, but it probably is) then the IMS when starting up no longer attempts STUN but simply performs a SIP REGISTER to the extension server IP as defined in the VOIP settings menu.

    Hope this helps...

    YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYES!

    it works great.

    thanks a lot.

  3. Some developments.

Alike to a an issue I faced initially with Axon/IVM - the calls dropping during hold seem to be due to having multiple IP's on my Servers NIC, Axon detects the wrong IP (and nothing will seem to force it to accept that is is not using the other). I can only disable this temporarily so is there any official word from NCH about this sort of situation ?

What is annoying is I seem to have one-way audio now (no outbound), so I've sort of ended up going full circle... Can't tell if this is from ET on my local machine or at the Axon level on the server... I think it might be axon actually because now I'm not even getting audio from IMS lol...

I'm in a bit of a tight spot because I want to buy IVM Pro, VRS Enterprise, IMS and a few ET Business editions - but I just can't go ahead with it until I've seen everything work, I can't afford to have my telephony mess up further down the line.

    Hi,

maybe i have the same problem? When i put on hold a phone call, the system don't drop the libe but it's impossible to listen to IMS on hold music.

    Did you solve your problem?

    Thanks,

    Andrea

  4. Hi,

I am testing the software before buying it...

I have installed Axon PBX, Express talk, IVM call attendent and IMS Telephone on hold player (all last versions, on server 192.168.0.101) and a LinkSYS SPA3102 on the same lan at 192.168.0.20

1)From express talk i make phone call (trough SPA3102 connected to my PSTN line) and all goes ok.

2)From my cell phone (trough SPA3102 connected to my PSTN line) i call express talk and all goes ok.

3)From express talk i make a phone call to 197 extension and i can hear the music playing from on hold software.

    The problem:

In cases 1 and 2 If i put a call on hold from express talk it's impossible to listen to music (only silence).

On Axon pbx i setup group 701 hold option while waiting on localhost:606 but no usic is playing.

I setup the extension 101 (connected to express talk) to use voice mail if not answered or busy on extension 198 (call attendent), if i not pick up the phone while ringing, the call attendent startup (i can see log) but no sound.

    thanks,

    Andrea (Italy)
