  1. I have the latest beta version of VideoPad 4.10, which was suggested as a fix to crashing in 4.8 while typing in subtitles for anime videos. When I play the VPJ in VideoPad, everything plays as it is supposed to. After exporting the video as an MP4, it will freeze up at certain points while the audio plays on. This generally lasts a few seconds, then the video begins to play again. If I reexport the video, the freeze up happens in exactly the same place in the new MP4. My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium x64 SP1 and the video player I'm using is VLC. Help appreciated.
  2. I downloaded a codec pack for Vista from Major Geeks and installed it. The WAV file still wouldn't play, so I opened it in WavePad and resaved it. It now plays. So, thank you very much WavePad! I shall recommend it for when someone has sound troubles.
  3. Thanks for the reply. I found Switch in Google. I'll try it if WavePad doesn't work. I also downloaded and installed that codec you mentioned, but Winamp still won't play the WAV files I downloaded.
  4. I just found out that Win Vista detests WAV files made before 1995, which happen to be most of the free WAVs one finds online. I asked about this on another board and they said I need to open the WAVs in a WAV file editor and resave them to bring them up to snuff for Vista. So my question is simply, can WavePad do this? Thank you.
