    CID

    Hi,

Can you please let me know if AXON Virtual PBX V 2.0 supports setting Caller-ID yet. instead of all sip extentions just default to VoIP provider's CID?

    Thanks,

    Regards,

Axon always supported CID, If your SIP Provider alows to the CID to travel through.

    1. In Axon goto Line and choose the line in question...

    2. In the ID or User Name section put the number for the CID

    3. Goto Advnced Line Settings and in the "Authentication User Name" section choose "Use a different User Name just for authentication" and enter the original ID or User Name.

Now if your SIP provider allows to CID to travel than the other side should see your caller ID.

  1. Good morning,

I have the OGM set as follows:

right click OGM->properties->key response->Menu (single key press)

    right click OGM->properties->key response->Press 1 -> Transfer Call-> Details->Number 101->blind transfer

I also changed the settings as follows:

IVM Answering Attendant->settings->settings->Telephony->VoIP Call Attendant->properties->Options->Allow Outbound and message forward calls on this line (checked)

It still says it has transfered and drops the line while no call is transfered. Logs as follows:

    08:03:50 Incoming SIP call

08:03:52 VoIP Call Attendant xxxxxxxxxxx [Answered]

    08:03:52 Answering call...

08:03:52 Answered line [1 "VoIP Call Attendant"] call number [19] cid [xxxxxxxxxxx] did[198] drn[0 (0ms)]

    08:03:57 Dialing: !

    08:03:57 Dialing complete

    08:03:58 Dialing: 101

    08:03:59 Dialing complete

    08:04:01 Dialing complete

08:04:01 Blind transfer complete so drop call

    08:04:01 Call has disconnected

I noticed that the IVM has port 5070 set for SIP. I have changed it to 5060 and back to 5070 which had no effect.

    Thanks again.

If you look through the previous discussion you will see that there is a big problem with Axon v1.30 and IVM v4.05 one of the classic quote there is "they just do not work together" I was in fact forced to use 3CX voip system with the Axon IVM, they work together like a dream.

  2. Hi

If you can transfer it to an internal extention your problem can be solved this way also. transfer call to internal extention through IVM and than forward that extention to external number in axon...........

    I hope your problem solved.....

..... and just to add to the confusion, if I setup an internal extention to transfer calls to a number outside, it does work if I call from another internal extention, but not if the transfer is done from the IVM to this extention..........

  3. Hi

If you can transfer it to an internal extention your problem can be solved this way also. transfer call to internal extention through IVM and than forward that extention to external number in axon...........

    I hope your problem solved.....

Thanks for the advice, unfortunatly this is one of the first things I tried once I got the transfer to the internal extentions working, but to my diasapointment I got the same error.

  4. I have looked through all the topics about the problems of runing IVM & Axon together and I could not find a solution nor a way to solve my problem.

When I try to transfer call to an external number I get the message Error returned: 400 Bad request in Axon. I used to have the same error while transfering to internal extantions, but this was sloved using the suggested settings in http://nch.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=8199, however, the transfer to an external line still remains an issue.

Funny enough, I have tested NCH IVM with the 3cx virtual PBX and in there it works perfect. I found it strange that the product is working perfect on 3rd pary software and not on NCH own software.

Please help as I like the Axon and would not like to repalce it with 3cx (which I will have to unfortunatly if problem can not be solved) Please Please anybody!!! ;)

  5. Hi there, I need to achive the same situation where by calls are coming in and being directed to extentions or an extrnal line. However, on every transfer I am getting the same error which is coming on the Axon as error 400 bad request.

I have tried every possible option and I am going mad. Can anyone help please !!!
