I realise you have resolved your issue, but I wanted to say, that if this problem occurs again something you could try is searching your hard drive for where ES saves a copy of all the files you have done - in the "Done" folder, and emptying that. ES has a way of self destructing by filling up its own caches and sometimes when you clear this and reload your file it will reload with the correct audio.

Hi guys I have four CDs with a bunch of CDA files on them. Now I've got the first one in my disc drive and have loaded the files into ES, or so I thought. When I got to file 2 I found it's exactly the same file as file one. The same with files 3 - 6. So I go back to the CD and check using Windows Media Player and in fact they aren't all the same recording. Yet each time I try to load the individual files from the CD into ES it gives me the same playback as file one. They all have different names. What gives? I don't particularly want to do this transcripton using Windows Media Player. It's a bad enough recording as it is. So would appreciate any help. Thanks,

Hi Ralinda, These can be downloaded from the internet to the best of my knowledge. I have Windows XP but I had the same problem when I installed Express Scribe. I just googled the exact thing ES said I was missing, or Express Scribe codecs, and I could download from there. Hope this helps.
