  1. I realise you have resolved your issue, but I wanted to say, that if this problem occurs again something you could try is searching your hard drive for where ES saves a copy of all the files you have done - in the "Done" folder, and emptying that. ES has a way of self destructing by filling up its own caches and sometimes when you clear this and reload your file it will reload with the correct audio.

    CDA Files

Hi guys I have four CDs with a bunch of CDA files on them. Now I've got the first one in my disc drive and have loaded the files into ES, or so I thought. When I got to file 2 I found it's exactly the same file as file one. The same with files 3 - 6. So I go back to the CD and check using Windows Media Player and in fact they aren't all the same recording. Yet each time I try to load the individual files from the CD into ES it gives me the same playback as file one. They all have different names. What gives? I don't particularly want to do this transcripton using Windows Media Player. It's a bad enough recording as it is. So would appreciate any help. Thanks,
  3. Hi Ralinda, These can be downloaded from the internet to the best of my knowledge. I have Windows XP but I had the same problem when I installed Express Scribe. I just googled the exact thing ES said I was missing, or Express Scribe codecs, and I could download from there. Hope this helps.
