  1. In Express Talk, with Audio option menu, under Audio Input Channel , I dont have an option to select Phone Line or Microphone...due to whcih my customers cant hear me...How to resolve it ?

  2. 1) Reason for being Internet on each line is because its not a lease line but its a broadband

    2) We have 2 Lan card on each computer, so that we can retain LAN through one ethernet card and through another we get internet.

    3) Lease line is not available in our area , due to high cost of installation

    4) We thought of using Axon on Lan, but as we are getting internet on each computer, we cant use Axon :-(

  3. Correct. For telemarketing calls you could

    - Send out automated messages to various phone numbers

    Or

    - Have IVM dial numbers and greet the person with an OGM that automatically gets IVM to transfer the caller to someone who is available to answer in the call centre

Please be aware and respect the laws of your area. In some places it may be illegal to make phone calls and deliver automated messages, or it may only be legal to do so if the person being called is already affiliated with you or is a consumer of your products for example.

transfer the caller to someone who is available to answer in the call centre

When you above lines, does it mean that customer has to press any Digit before line can get transfer ?

  4. When you say telemarketing calls, dose it mean that

    1) Using IVM , I can dial out numbers.

    2) Once connected, it can transfer call to Express talk , via Axon , to the extension which is free ?

  5. Even when my ISP commits me Raw 256 kbps 1:1 , I get only 128 kbps ?

In their SLA, they do mention that and they also prove it by keeping track of using some bandwith meter.

  6. Wow .. Only 10kbps ?

    Cant believe it..

So, If I have 256 KB/s of raw bandwidth of lease line..Can I use 10 agents on 10 different computers on Lan... with Axon and VRS on Server ?

It will include soemtime DTMF also..

    Please guide..

  7. Express Dial also has VOIP feature whcih uses Express Talk.

Now If I install Axon , Express Talk and Express Dial on server and , whenever "Express Dial" dials out a number , can it transfer call to another machine'express talk using Express Talk installed on server ?

    If yes, how ?

If so, then we can upload numbers or calling list only on Server Express Dial ... It will remove hassles of loading list on each machine on network.

We use all these for : Outbound Call center

  8. In Options choose "Use Express Talk to make calls using VoIP" you will then need to install Express Talk:

    http://www.nch.com.au/talk/index.html

Then in Express Talk in your lines settings in options use the details from an extension from Axon as your SIP settings.

    Right.

    I just did it.

But I want to run "Express Dial" application on my server which will throw calls to Express Talk through Axon

  9. I have Installed Axon.

I have selected total 24 ports when I was installing.

Then when I installed VRS, and when I opened VRS, it shows me some 24 channels.

What is the difference between channel and VOIP port ?

  10. I have around 16 computers (P4) with One server(P4 with 3 GB RAM).

    All are in LAN.

Each computer gets its own bandwith, through individual ADSL Router.

    Now,

Where should I install where ?

    I meant to say

Express Talk on all 16 machines and other applications ?

What should be installed on Server and what should we intsall on agent machine ?
