Sorry for the delay in the reply. I have a number of different clients that are sending me these files, the files that I am having trouble with tend to be close to an hour in lenght. Most are Mp3, some are wav files or wma. When I listen to them in Real or Windows Media Player they are the full length. I am not sure what they use to create the files since I am not able to direct them at all in their creation of the audio. We only use Windows (XP machines) to do this work, although I believe a few of the staff will soon be migrating to Vista. Many thanks, Sarah

Hello All, I've been a happy user of Express Scribe for some time but I am now finding that newer versions of the software are truncating files that my team are transcribing. This only happens on a few files (generally longer ones). I have seen this topic a few times and wanted to add another voice that this is happening. If anyone has other fixes (I've read many on the boards to no avail.) I'd really appreciate the help. Sarah
