Hi thanks for your reply. I found the notation for begin repeat, end and double, thanks. I was hoping to find the symbol that sits in measure that looks similar to a percentage sign. It indicates playing the same notes from the preceding measure for each measure that contains the symbol. E.g. if its a bass playing c & d for 6 measures, the first measure containing c & d would be followed by 6 measures containing the 'measure (bar) repeat' symbol. If crescendo has this symbol it would be helpful. Thanks again.

looking for barr repeat symbol, for one or many measures.... is it in Crescendo?
