Just started to use MixPad today (MixPad v11.20 Dec 15 2023).
I'm recording a guitar track and I want a drum track first, so I can keep accurate timing.
I'd like to create a pattern in Beat Maker and then replicate it in MixPad for the entire song length.
.
In MixPad, I have a problem replicating a pattern created in Beat Maker.
When a pattern is transferred from Beat Maker to MixPad, a small gap is added at the end of the pattern.
So when I replicate the pattern in MixPad, there is an unwanted gap at the and of each replication.
.
This is not a problem inside of Beat Maker itself.
That is, in Beat Maker, I can replicate a base pattern as many times as I want, without this unwanted gap.
So the only way to generate a beat for an entire song is to replicate it entirely in Beat Maker.
.
This doesn't seem like the way it should be used.
There is an instruction video for Beat Maker.
It shows the base pattern being created in Beat Maker, and added to the Beat Maker library.
It is then replicated, as required, in MixPad.

.
I assume I am doing something wrong (?).
.
Interestingly, the video (at 3:08) also seems to visually show a small extra gap at the end of the pattern in MixPad.
In the video example, the base pattern is replicated a few times in MixPad - along with the apparent gap.
However, the instruction video has no sound from MixPad, just the voice over.
So its not possible to hear if there are any MixPad / Beat Maker interaction issues.
.
Any comments or suggestions ?
.
Thanks in advance :))
.
EXTRA INFO:
I just figured out how to expand the view in MixPad.
Yes, there is one extra blank beat at the very end of the pattern in the MixPad track.
This would explain the audio gap.
Not present in Beat Maker.
