  1. I understand, I think, what you want. As you produce a lead sheet, you want the name of the chord, Am for A Minor, ad an example, to be larger and more readable. Me too. I looked but fail to see where we can do that.
  2. Is there a way to share my CDO file with you? D.S.al Coda works but I cannot figure out how to use multiple signs. Can one do that? Well, for now, I have a tech looking at the code.
  3. The response is blinding me. Sorry, I understand more or less what you mean but I cannot visualize it, I am an amateur singer songwriter. "Out from the Night" on Youtube https://youtu.be/o8vBvS_ajn8?si=RPjSe4d1CuduMURr
  4. Go to far left of lyrics, left click lyric and move it to better position. RIGHT click and select Align Vertically . I do not know if it goes past one line. Google "Robert Lang Youtube Christmases of the World" and see https://youtu.be/C5srqVEVrRw?list=PLdGWn-wHbob_U5LknGPZG-VuWWM_e19O6 "Robert Lang Youtube Christmases of the World" and see https://youtu.be/TeChpHLhoWQ?si=icf1SV5mu-i_Hwaz
  5. There is no way to insert an image of a PDF page here, is there? Too bad because while I do not write complex stuff, I am interested to see what you mean. regarding "not complex stuff" Google "Robert Lang Youtube Out from the Night" https://youtu.be/C5srqVEVrRw?list=PLdGWn-wHbob_U5LknGPZG-VuWWM_e19O6 "Robert Lang Youtube Christmases of the World" https://youtu.be/TeChpHLhoWQ?si=icf1SV5mu-i_Hwaz
  6. I can send files via email to demonstrate this too. In 4/4 time make five bars, whole notes, A B C D E Crescendo will play through one time But now use begin repeat (br) and end repeat (er) o play A B C D A B C D E You will write it as (br) A B C D (er) E but this will play as A B C D A B C D E Now how can you play back A B C D A B C D A B [NO C D HERE] E without recoding the whole thing? Use Notation and Volta from the menu insert Volta 1.,2. over C AND D (br) A B C D (er) The replay is (br) A B [enter volta 1st time] C D (er) [wraps back to start of line (br) A B [enter volta 2nd time] C D (er) [wraps back to start of line (br) A B [but CANNOT re-enter 1.,2. volta a 3rd time and bounces out to E Thus it plays as A B C D A B C D A B E The entry point in Crescendo is a counter. In my case, a broken counter that will not do a Volta 1.,2. in the bar 55 and 56, as it is supposed to do. I have to write is as insert Volta 1. [ONLY] And create a NEW BAR to place Volta 2. over C AND D Again over C D (br) A B C D (er) C D (er The replay is (br) A B [enter volta 1. 1st time] C D (er) [wraps back to start of line (br) A B [CANNOT enter volta 1, so jumps to Volta 2] C D (er) [wraps back to start of line (br) A B [but CANNOT re-enter Volta 1. NOR Volta 2., thus bounces out to E So, it plays as A B C D A B C D A B E I should not have to write goofy extra bars to end run a counter problem
  7. Sorry I could not find "it." Ask support to add the feature, perhaps. Again, regret I did not find the correct ornament.
  8. Yes and no. Lets talk about one bar, and one voice only, four quarter notes, on E, set to piano. "ding, ding, ding, ding" Use the "meni" and "voices" a pil-down carrot of menu, to select "voice 2" Now, you are ready to add what WOULD be Voice 2, and let think of this as a guitar playing eighth notes on D, "ding-ding, ding-ding, ding-ding, ding-ding" At this point you have two problems that I will try to show below As it uses quarter notes, Voice 1 "ding, ding, ding, ding" does not support the structure that the eighth note driven Voice 2 "ding-ding, ding-ding, ding-ding, ding-ding" requires. This is easy to fix within a short bar or two passage. Change Voice 1 from quarter notes to "tied" dual eighth notes thus the REVISED VOICE 1 Voice 1 (r) "di tied ng, di tied ng, di tied ng, di tied ng" will sound the same as before, but using eighth notes supports the OLD VOICE TWO Voice 2 (o) "ding-ding, ding-ding, ding-ding, ding-ding" HOWEVER, written on the same bar, they will only have ONE VOICE To make Voice 2 a different instrument, you need to insert a separate staff for this second voice. I have a score with two separated voices. Message me and I might be able to share it as a Crescendo file and as a PDF
  9. I found it. Left click a note and get the seven pop up bubbles. Move anti or counter clockwise to the fourth, nine o'clock bubble. Left click on it and see the new, additional marks presented. I read that Marcato is the TEE-Pee like, upsidedown VEE . THere is is.
  10. Been broke, as far as I can see, for FIVE YEARS and it still does not function as It should.
  11. See subject. They do and there is no excuse.
  12. I actually understand what you mean by this. I have a composition with a chord Dm7(♭5) and I need to use a double sharp to avoid overwriting notes.
  13. So earlier versions of the software allowed rether generous copy and paste space and some of my works ran ten or twelve pages long. THEN ONE DAY, I hit a nine page limit. so the tried and true cut aand paste defeats my composition. THe answer of course is to upgrade to "pro-level." I get space but so much other stuff is broken. ANd no live help. Sorry for the crappy typing. Mu fingers have arthritis.
  14. The playback sounds like a child's pezio firetruck whining. Is there a way to upgrade to a real piano or real guitar sound?
  15. Cue notes would be a godsend, as well. There are grace notes available but NOT intuitive to me to use them.
  16. I see reports of the VOLTA not working from FIVE YEARS AGO. STILL BROKEN. Wish I could share my file with the forum so you can see what I have and how it does not work. I will try to describe it here. Song starts, has "typical" repeats. All goes well. We go back to the sign, go to coda, and four bars from the end I want to play through three bars, hit volta to replay the three bars to hit volta again, to play just the same three bars and drop past volta to final four bars. Think of singing this, melody rising so this is written out, not repeated using begin repeat, end repeat, and a volta to instigate additional repeats] ... We can play..... WE can play..... We can play... [and now, start final repeat singing...] "the song... woe woah, we can play" [go back to the song] "the song... woe woah, we can play" [go back to the song] "the song... woe woah.// [and go to final four bars which is guitar only, no singing.] I have to use volta 1 and then copy this and name it volta 2, to make it repeat. If I make it a volta singular labels 1.,2., the repeat fails. If I make the volta 1.,2.,3. I get three passes complete thus one extra repeat. THere is a counter someplace NOT resetting.
  17. FIVE ... NO ... FREAKING SIX YEARs LATER and I have the same problem. WTFO?
