Changing to File Type avi. I seem to have less noise. Around -42 db now.

Thanks. I was able to set the File type to avi. The encoder options were already H264 and MP3. I couldn't find where to set the Video Comp. I made a recording. The sound is better. There is a larger latency in the video. Flatfive

I am running Debut on a PC. I use a Presonus Audiobox USB 96 as the audio interface. I have a Shure SM 57 in one channel and my guitar pickup through a preamp in to the other input. I have about -30 db of noise at all times. It is a hiss sound. Can i do something to mitigate this noise?

Where do I select file type?
