I used the 8va tool and used it over two octaves.Using my mouse I've been able to anchor it over my note range after several attempts. don't be discouraged, it definitely raises the notes an octave in play back mode. I'm hit and miss every time I use it so I can't explain how it is done exactly. I just know it works. Maybe crescendo has made this improvement since this was first posted.

What causes a Crescendo document turn into an Alias document that won't load. It also puts a black arrow in the Crescendo Icon.

Nevermind, I just figured out how to use the tie tool. Works great.

How can you connect notes an maintain a constant tone? Example: a bar ends on an eighth note and needs to remain constant through the first note in the next bar. Example: you need a note to last 5 eighth notes. a dotted quarter note is 3 eighth notes and a dotted half note is 6 eighth notes
