  1. Gary, I had a similar problem as you with blank disk after burn. I use a Pioneer DVR-710 internal burner. I just purchased Express Burn last week and I would start Express Burn and click on "Add Files" and selected the files I wanted to burn. Then I would click on "Burn CD" in the lower right corner. At this time a drop down window would display and ask whether to "Burn directly to internal burner" or "Burn using Windows Media Player." I did not pay attention to this window close enough. It was defaulted to "Burn directly to internal burner" and everytime I tried to burn this way I had the same problem you did. I finally paid closer attention and chose the second option "Burn using Windows Media Player." I no longer have problems burning CD Disks. It works great now however I am not sure this will solve your problem but thought I would suggest it. Good Luck Dick
  2. nchto, Thank you for the reply. I was using the default "Burn directly to internal burner" After your suggestion I changed to "Burn using Windows Media Player" and it worked great. I tried reading it in another computer and it worked great also. Thank you so much. What is the "Burn directly to internal burner" option? Dick Roundy
  3. OK, I must be stupid or something!!!! I can not see my data burned to a CD using Windows explorer. In Express Burn I click on "Data CD" and then click on add files. I select files I want to burn and they show up properly on the list. I then click on "Burn Disk" in the lower right corner and the disk burns and verifys. Then when I look at the disk with windows explorer there is nothing there. I don't understand the ISO image thing and that me be my major problem. I just want the files I select to show up on the CD and be able to copy back from the CD when desired. I have friends that do not have DSL and have major problems downloading large files on dial up. They will call me for help. I download their needed large files and burn them on a CD so that they can update their computers. I am using Windows Vista now and my old NERO program is incompatible so I purchased Express Burn for its apparent simplicity. Any help is appreciated. Dick
